Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides short-term evidence-based behavioral interventions to children, adolescents, young adults and their families in their homes or community settings.
- Assists youth and families on developing healthy and positive coping strategies and techniques to improve emotional and behavioral regulation abilities, physical well-being, socialization, and interpersonal relationships.
- Schedules and conducts a minimum of weekly sessions with each youth and family, delivered within the authorized time period and within the authorized number of billable units.
- Maintains an active caseload with a maximum average of no more than 20 hours per week.
- Actively participates in Child Family Team Meetings as conducted by the referral agency.
- Maintains regular communications with IIC Clinicians and referral sources, including Care Managers and/or Children’s Mobile Response staff as the youth and families progress with services.
- Collaborates with members of the community’s multidisciplinary team including schools, medical providers, psychiatric providers, DCP&P staff, treatment facilities and other community resources that the youth and family are engaged with.
- Completes initial consents for services and other chart forms as required by policies and procedures.
- Adheres to and implements the BA Individual Service Plan (BA-ISP) that is created and updated by the IIC Clinician.
- Enters session progress notes and other collateral information into the online CYBER system within 24 hours of service delivery.
- Completes Transition Summaries in CYBER and notifies the office when services have ended.
- Submits timesheets and supporting documentation weekly to the CCS billing email.
- Meets the company’s performance and productivity standards.
- Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements:
- Must have a New Jersey Behavioral Assistant Certification or completed a minimum of three (3) out of the seven (7) required courses. The remaining courses to become certified must be completed within 6 months of hire.
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply (any language, but preferably Spanish and Portuguese).
- Must meet with the youth and their families in their homes and communities on a consistent basis.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable registered and insured vehicle.
The pay range for services rendered are dependent upon certifications, experience, and needs. Behavioral Assistants starting pay from $25 an hour, with a high demand for bilingual assistants.
