My Kids Childcare Inc. is seeking a fun energetic candidate for our School Age Program! No previous experience necessary! Come as you are and we will train you! This position can be part time or full time. We are flexible with individuals availability and looking to staff our School Age Program for the Spring Break and Summer 2023 between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday (NO WEEKENDS!!!) Typical day involves supervising kids as they go through the daily schedule and activities. Interacting with children, being there for their emotional needs, modeling good behavior and keeping it fun! We have fun and exciting visitors scheduled weekly along with two (2) field trips off site per week to fun and adventurous locations. This is a position for anyone who has a genuine love of children and truly enjoys interacting with them. This position is excellent for entry level staff looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of early childhood education (ECE). Ideal candidate would be the Big Brother & Big Sister. Someone who can relate and understand what they are going through. Be able to provide a physical and background check (BCI & FBI). • CPR, First Aid, training within 90 days of hire date

• Complete ODJFS Child Care Staff Orientation within 30 days

• Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds

• Mornings & Afternoons, Approximately 15-40 hours per week

• Provides a quality experience to children and parents focused on MKC+ core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring

• Supervise a group of children and actively engage in activities with children

• Participate in planning and implementing program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate and consistent with MKC values

• Adhere to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards

• Attend staff meetings and trainings

• Follow MKC policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies

• Maintain positive relations with parents and other staff
