ASC Cleaning PROFESSIONAL

We are looking for a responsible cleaning professional for our Endo-Surgical center facility. The ideal candidate will be experienced in cleaning medical offices/ambulatory surgery centers/OR. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in this job.

Responsibilities

· Ensure procedure rooms/patient bays/nursing stations are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces

· Clean ceiling vents

· Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets

· Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and restock disposables (e.g. soap)

· Wipe mirrors and windows

· Perform terminal cleaning in OR on a daily basis

· Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

· Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

· Follow all health and safety regulations

· Assist with post procedure workload including cleaning room between procedures

Requirements

· Proven working experience as a Cleaner

· Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances

· Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

· Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets

· Attention to detail and conscientiousness

· Very good physical condition and strength

· High school diploma is preferred but not required

One (1) year experience in the medical office/surgical center/hospital/operating room preferred.
