We are seeking a Client Service Associate who can provide exemplary customer service to our clients by anticipating their needs, being responsive to questions about their accounts, and assisting with routine account maintenance.

Job Description

This position has a diverse and busy schedule that includes:

  • Work in a team environment to serve clients in a pleasant, professional manner in order to enhance the client experience.
  • Anticipate client needs, answer questions related to client accounts, assist with routine account transactions, and follow up with clients as necessary.
  • Build genuine relationships with clients by providing exemplary customer service in person, over the phone, and through written correspondence.
  • Document all communications and activity related to client accounts and transactions.
  • Assist clients with the completion of necessary paperwork and notify clients when their involvement is necessary to complete account transactions.
  • Gathering client information and inputting data for financial plan preparation and review
  • Providing assistance to Lead Advisors on all aspects of client service
  • Participating in client meetings, tracking and completing follow up items generated by client meetings

Basic qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of office experience with emphasis on customer service
  • Manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with respect to client and firm information
  • Understand and adhere to all firm policies and procedures
  • Exercise the highest level of professionalism in personal presentation, communication, and all interactions with clients and employees
  • Demonstrate high levels of integrity
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Function well in a team environment by maintaining a positive, collaborative approach
  • Work independently with self-motivation
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
  • Excellent time management, strong organizational skills, and an ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through capabilities
  • Highly motivated individual who takes initiative and works independently to manage workload
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Preferred skills/experience

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree or post-high school education
  • Experience in the financial industry with an understanding of the stock market, investments, and retirement plans
  • Familiarity with the following industry related programs considered a plus: Charles Schwab, NFS, RedTail, Orion, and Holistiplan

This position is a hybrid work arrangement. As a Client Associate, you have the flexibility to work from home, but will be expected to attend in-person client meetings and weekly team meetings at our office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
