Job description
Definition:Greets, instructs and directs clients upon their arrival to Renewal's Re-Entry Center. This individual will ensure receipt of proper documentation and authorization pursuant to service delivery. Checks clients into system, verifies insurance or government service is authorized and notifies clinical staff of client's arrival. Coordinates appropriate communication of information between client, staff and providers to ensure the client's needs are met. This individual will follow up on referrals, schedule appointments and follow-up on appointments as necessary.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
Experience with mental health and drug and alcohol treatment preferred. Should be familiarized with and understand the use of billing codes. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently, self-starting, motivated, highly organized, and ability to adapt to changing technology, conducting research; must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office. Must be able to multi-task and work with or without direction. Writing, positive customer service and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite to employment.
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years' related experience required. Act 33 and 34 clearance and a high degree of ethics required.
