Position Summary:

The Clinical Research Coordinator supports blast and other exposure recordings during military training and similar field settings. The coordinator will ensure the scientific and technical leads on the research team maintain close coordination throughout the data collection cycle. Coordinator sets guidelines and requirements for research team execution; during the execution phase will continue dialog with the supported unit to ensure that the research doesn’t interfere with the training objectives.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for following and assist in facilitating process and performance improvement measures to reduce and mitigate errors; and improving data safety and accuracy.
  • Assists with preparing reports, drafting manuscripts, and streamlining workflow among study staff.
  • Provides scientific input into the research process in the field of low level blast environment characterization.
  • Assists with preparing monthly reports and streamlining of workflow among study staff by synthesizing disparate facts from multiple sources and coalesce into an accurate and useful analytic product.
  • Support the preparation of briefings, technical reports, and manuscripts for publication in professional journals.
  • Serve as a liaison between collaborators, principal investigator (PI), and study staff.
  • Participate in all aspects of research to include study design and collecting, managing, processing, analyzing, and reporting data.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Organizes research information for clinical projects.
  • Selects and observes subjects and assists with data analysis and reporting.
  • Oversees experiment scheduling and collection of data.

About the Role:

This job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Applicable Bachelor's Degree (Highly Preferred) or Master's Degree in applicable clinical fields.
  • Strong fluency in verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines for human research (Previous GCP certification preferred).
  • Computer competency including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of CFR, GCP and ICH guidelines
  • Ability to work independently with remote supervision
  • 2-4 years non-profit, research, or healthcare experience desired


Clearance Requirement: Public Trust / High Risk

As this position is categorized as Public Trust / High Risk position, candidates will be subject to appropriate Background Investigation.

Job Location: Walter Reed, Silver Spring, MD Area

As this position will be located at a federal government site, candidate must be residing in the greater Silver Spring, MD area. Remote work for this position is not available.

Travel:

International and Domestic travel may be required. travel may be required. (up to 20% travel).
