Key Role:

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) organization as a Project Manager. Assist with developing, executing, and managing business processes and an office and team that supports EHRM-IO's mission. Project areas include, but are not limited to process re-engineering, data integration, and briefings. Develops and reviews internal and external executive briefing materials and deliverables. Assists Analysts with deep dives on individual subject areas, such as Risk Management. Manages tasking to the team from OFC leadership and EHRM-IO leadership. Serve as documentation and presentation developer for the OFC through rapid development of strategic plans, executive-level presentations, SOPs, and other work products as required. Track deliverable process oversight and provide congressional and OIG response coordination support. Provide meeting coordination and support, to include note taking, following items to closure, and scheduling and managing meetings.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience with life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress
  • Experience working directly with senior level clients
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, Healthcare, Project Management, or an additional 8 years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
