Position: Residential and Consumer Lending - Closing Analyst / Generalist

Primary Responsibilities: _*

• Perform all facets of loan closing process including title ordering, clear-to close, scheduling and funding.
• Ensure that loans are processed and closed in accordance with both state and federal regulations including but not limited to RESPA, ECOA, Reg Z, Flood, Fair Credit.
• Prepare accurate closing documents for all residential mortgages including but not limited to loans sold to Freddie Mac, and Mass Housing Partnership, and construction loans and residential mortgage loans held in portfolio.
• Review closing documents prepared by the closing attorney for accuracy.
• Communicates to appropriate attorney for Title orders and clear to close for all residential closings.
• Coordinate the communication of pay off information to closing attorneys.
• Prepares closing documents for all consumer loans including but not limited to Home Equity Loans, Home Equity Lines, Mobile Home Loans and Auto Loans. This includes processing MIP for Home Equity Loans and Lines.
• Assists origination/processing staff in performing tests included but no limited to HOEPA, HMDA, HPML, Borrower’s Best Interest and Flood review.
• Responsible for initiating automated boarding of residential and consumer loans to the loan servicing platform.
• Responsible for adhering to all applicable Bank policies, procedures, law and regulations
• Any other processing/closing duties as assigned by Supervisors.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in a mortgage processing/closing environment or loan servicing is preferred. A solid understanding of current regulatory guidelines related to residential, and consumer lending. Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills as well as good computer skills including knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
