Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting residents with activities for daily living. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) identifies special resident problems, reports them immediately to the nurse, and takes an active role to help problem-solve to resolve the issues.

Major Duties and Responsibilities for Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA:

• Assist nurses by providing ADL services: Bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, etc.
• Document vital signs, weight, meal intake, bowel and bladder, etc.
• Assist with Restorative Nursing duties
• Performs CNA skills
• Identifies special resident problems, reports them immediately to the nurse, and takes an active role to help problem-solve to resolve the issues
• Reviews resident profiles and perform nursing cares as outlined
• Observe infection control procedures
• Always leave the resident in a safe environment
• Ambulates and transfers resident per their transfer policy
• Helps to mentor new CNAs

Requirements: IDPH Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) can start as early as NEXT WEEK!
