A rapidly growing Aerospace company is actively looking for enthusiastic & responsible CNC Lathe Setup Machinists for the 1st shift. Our company provides a wide variety of services for the aerospace industry and our CNC Machinists are required to have broad knowledge & experience in the precision machining trade.

Technical Skills:
Capable to setup CNC 3/4-Axis CNC Lathe machines and perform all associated machining operations
Minimum of 5 years’ experience
Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up and troubleshoot 3 axis Lathes
Must be capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency
Must be capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment
Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine soft jaws
Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches
Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work
Other duties may include general mechanical work, equipment & facility maintenance, shop cleaning & organizing, and other duties as necessary.
Optional: Able to carefully prove-out new CNC programs and make minor edits when necessary
Enjoys the challenge of developing unique setups as necessary to produce ultra-low quantities of precision machined components
Has experience working with a variety of materials (ie, aluminum, stainless steel, bronze, high-temp alloys, plastics, ect.)
Can operate general shop equipment
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
2 year technical school certificate or equivalent on-the-job training
Minimum of 5-years CNC machining experience in a job-shop environment
Other:
Own some precision tools & basic hand tools
Successfully pass physical exam, drug screen, & background check
FULL-Time Position of 12 hours Mon-Fri with Sat optional (edited)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
