Employee-Owner: CNC Operator

Shift 1: 7am-3pm

Shift 2: 3pm-11pm (Shift 2 has a $1 hourly shift differential)

Carris Reels, Plywood Division, is seeking quality-minded, dependable individuals to join our talented team of Employee Owners and operate our CNC Machines. These key positions require excellent math skills, mechanical skill, and the ability to read and follow customer specifications.

Responsibilities include:

· Follow safety rules, procedures, guidelines, and training given. Recognize and report hazards to designated individual(s). Actively participate in safety program. Practice safe work habits and report accidents/injuries immediately.

· Flexibility in job assignments and adaptability to changing business needs.

· Continually learn and apply new skills.

· Use vacuum lift and/or manually load CNC machines with plywood sheet stock. Unload, stack, and clean when cycle is complete. Re-set for new cycle.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.

· Interface with manufacturing personnel, across departments and shifts on material status and production assembly issues.

· Confer with shift supervisor to coordinate and organize materials.

· Communicate well and get along with team members, actively listen, ask questions to understand, provide encouragement.

· Collaboratively support a cooperative and positive team environment.

· Maintain excellent attendance, with overtime required as business needs dictate.

· Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned and fill in at other areas, or buildings, as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.40 - $16.05 per hour
