Hiring 1st & 2nd Shift CNC Machine Technicians (Group Leaders) - Cleveland, Ohio

Work hours (1st shift 7am-330pm) (2nd shift 3:30pm - Midnight)

$22-$25 per hour (Overtime is available)

Job related work experience: Five or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least two in the current department.

Job Description:

Perform the functions of the respective production/tool room job in all aspects and provide additional assistance to the respective supervisor.

Responsibilities:

- Provide on-the-job instruction to new associates in the department on the operating, set-up and equipment maintenance procedures.

- Provide on-the-job instruction to new associates in the department on the operating, set-up equipment procedures.

- Provide daily work scheduling support for the supervisor to ensure that equipment is efficiently manned for the volume of work.

- Provide routine safety auditing of the work area and provide formal or informal reports to the supervisor.

- Coordinate external resources such as maintenance, Quality Control (inspection), and others under the guidance of the supervisor in order to maintain operating efficiencies.

- Plan work schedules for the day in advance.

- Trouble-shoot equipment and make determinations on operating levels, capability and requirements for maintenance.

- This position may occasionally resolve moderately complex interpersonal conflicts among co-workers

Safety: To promote safety awareness on the manufacturing floor and to ensure that operators understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.

High School Diploma or GED required.
