Wiegel Tool Works is a premier metal stamping manufacturer located in Wood Dale Illinois. Established in 1941 our company occupies a 93,000 square foot modern air-conditioned building recently expanded in 2011. WTW specializes in complete turnkey packages including engineering, prototypes, tool construction, and wire/EDM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mills
- Operate, load/unload material, indicate vices/fixtures, and deburr
- Inspect and verify conformance to specifications
- Provide crucial input on CNC programming, tool path, and tool/cutter selection
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC mills, programming experience helpful
- Manual machining experience
- Mastery of setting up fixtures, tooling, vices, and clamps
- Operates machines running complex and high tolerance components
- Understand machining properties of various tool steels
- Passionate about machining
- Strong work ethic and highly motivated
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Good communication skills including the ability to interface with customers, management, suppliers, and other employees.
