COLLECTIONS TEAM LEAD – BILINGUAL JOB SUMMARY: _*
This role would assist in responding to Collections Specialist questions and/or issues, covering for Supervisor absences, adding to the rotation for Supervisor and escalated calls, and continuing to execute the duties of Bilingual Collections Specialist (duties listed below).

COLLECTIONS TEAM LEAD – BILINGUAL Responsibilities_*

  • Work closely with the Operations Support Supervisor and Executive Director of Operations and ensure assigned tasks are handled in a timely manner
  • Respond to Collections Specialist regarding questions, and on-the-spot training, additional negotiation techniques, coding, provide motivation and encouragement to agents
  • Proactively maintain regular engagement with the team to help ensure policy compliance
  • Manage, inspire, and motivate a team to ensure operational excellence, high employee engagement, and service improvement are achieved
  • Help meet business objectives, ensuring consistent achievement of all financial and operational KPIs
  • Other duties as assigned but Operations Support Supervisor or Executive Director of Operations

Collection Specialist Responsibilities

  • Maintains compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, TCPA, and UDAAP guidelines through knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, and CSII policies and procedures.
  • Negotiates payment terms and methods when the right party is reached.
  • Accurately reflects and updates the content of consumer contact in notes on accounts.
  • Meets goals for performance bonuses
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities: Assist Collection Supervisors

Serious Candidates will possess the minimum qualifications: _*

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must type 35+ wpm
  • 10-key by touch
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Management/Supervisory Experience a plus
  • 3+ years of prior collections or customer service experience preferred
  • Able to define problems, organize and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Engage in and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Professional Attitude and Appearance
  • Must enjoy working as a team and have the ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining focus and ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to meet departmental production and quality expectations consistently
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
