Job Overview:

Commercial Kitchen Parts & Service has been serving the industry’s top food equipment manufacturers for more than 60 years and has reached more than 4,000 food service businesses in Texas! As our partnerships continue to grow, so do our opportunities. As a result, we are looking to add a Dispatcher to our team! Located in our Austin Branch, the Dispatcher will be responsible for preforming all key dispatch functions to include routing and scheduling Service Technicians as well as communicating service requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and schedule calls according to importance and urgency
  • Maintain contact with service technicians throughout the day
  • Input new service calls given to the service technicians onsite
  • Assists customers with any questions regarding their service requests
  • Promptly and effectively communicate with other departments, technicians, and management
  • Monitor the status of parts on order for open jobs
  • Serve as backup for other dispatchers
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle high volume calls using multiple phone devices
  • Work successfully in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
  • Establish and maintain tactful, courteous, and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the general public
  • Possesses the sense of urgency
  • Proficient in MS Office and other computer applications
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be efficient and organized to handle multiple task assigned at the same time
  • Must be able to work overtime, holidays, nights and weekends when needed

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School or GED Equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of dispatching experience
  • Knowledge of food service industry a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
