Job description
Responsible for providing accurate financial analysis and risk assessment of Commercial and/or SBA loans and determining their creditworthiness.
- Underwrite credit memos and prepare credit memos with assistance.
- Has some knowledge of SBA SOP and commercial underwriting
- Request required documentation, financials, etc. from the borrower and guarantors of the new/renewal loan request and annual review
- Prepare SBA authorizations and other SBA related forms
- Order and review appraisals, environmental reports, flood search, UCC searches, etc.
- Communicate with 3rdparty due diligence vendors
- Be capable of maintaining a mixed portfolio of full underwriting of loans and modification requests
- Prepare credit files for new loans

Education and/or Training Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 1 year experience in Commercial and/or SBA underwriting
- Finance experience in understanding cash flow analysis for both personal and corporate levels
- Basic computer proficiency
- Excel proficiency
- Fluency in the English language
- Bi-lingual in Korean, Chinese, or Vietnamese are preferred
