Scope: To ensure smooth and effective church communications

Hours: Monday- Thursday 9-4 (schedule may fluctuate and some Friday or Saturday work may be required based on church need, hours will not exceed 29 hour each week)

Hourly Rate: $17-$21

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (Required)
• At least 3 years’ experience within a marketing, communications, graphics, editing or marketing promotions role (Preferred)
• OR combination of education and experience

Full Job Description

The Communications Coordinator will create, organize and implement effective communication strategies for Harvest Church. This person will support the church and its ministry leaders in conveying their vision and communication priorities.

Duties:

-Create, schedule and send churchwide emails, mass or targeted

-Layout and produce monthly Personal Growth Plan reading guide

-Order all outsourced items from vendors (letterhead, banners, posters, etc.)

-Create digital promotion for weekly services

-Create content and copywriting to be uploaded to website

-Create all materials to be printed for distribution for internal ministries/events

-Work with church/ministry leaders to define and develop effective communication to churchwide and specific audiences

-Maintain Yodeck devices for HKids and daycare

-Update church events calendar

-Design graphic content

Competencies:

-Attention to detail across all media (written, graphic, etc.)

-Excellent written and oral communication skills

-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud

-Ability in copywriting and copy editing

-Experience with email marketing

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
