Job description
This position is a is a part-time position that will serve to increase the visibility of the Center throughout the service area. Create, schedule and conduct public awareness presentations for the domestic violence and sexual assault programs, as well as attend community fairs. Participate in training community awareness-prevention volunteers. Will work collaboratively to support coworkers on projects for awareness campaigns.
Associates degree preferred but experience may be substituted. Prefer one-year public speaking and workshop facilitation. Have knowledge and skills in community relations and exceptional writing and oral skills. Sound judgment and organizational skills. Flexibility required. Participation in evening and weekend presentations, health fairs, etc. is required.
Must be bilingual.
