Job Summary

We are looking for a Caregiver/Home Care Aide to join our team! In this role, we improve the lives of older people and people with disabilities by improving their quality of life. We have an immediate opportunity for a caregiver to care for a female client in Cardiff-By-The-Sea. Current hours are Wednesday and Thursday (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM) The ideal caregiver is patient, caring, initiative-driven, prompt upon arrival, and trustworthy.

Pay: From $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Education:

• High school or equivalent

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• HCA number and CPR (Required)

Work Location: One location

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping activities
• Medication reminders
• Provide companionship
• Assist with errands and shopping

Qualifications

• Previous 1-year experience as a Caregiver, Home Care Aide, or similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heaving objects
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical
• Promptness, commitment, reliability, & willingness to learn
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities
• Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's
