Title: Computer Operator
Location: Goodlettsville, TN
Duration: 11+ Months Contract

Shift: 7 pm to 7 am (12 hours)
Week 1 and Week 3 : 4 days
Week 2 and Week 4 : 3 days
Exact Schedule will be shared after selection.

Basic computer skills with Job scheduling and AS400 / Unix experience will suffice
no remote

Responsibilities

• Monitor jobs controlled by an automated scheduling system to include adding and removing jobs from the scheduler.
• Use monitoring tools to monitor the company network as well as the nightly store polling system.
• Use monitoring tools to monitor the company store pc network.
• Process phone requests.
• Manually submit batch processing jobs and monitor to completion.
• Troubleshoot problems and assist in problem resolution.
• Notify appropriate personnel of exceptions (ex: batch processing errors).
• Assist shift Team Leader in department initiatives.

Good organizational skills.

• Knowledge of hardware configurations.
• Knowledge of AS/400, UNIX and Microsoft commands preferred.
• Working knowledge of automated batch processing.
• Attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
• Good oral communication skills.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in a computer related course of study.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Goodlettsville, TN 37072: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Computer operation: 5 years (Required)
• AS400: 5 years (Required)
• UNIX: 5 years (Required)
