Mary Schwartz Summit in First Hill, part of Kline Galland’s family of services is currently seeking to add Concierge Front Desk position for our large Independent and Assisted Living community on First Hill. We are dedicated to delivering the highest standards care to residents in assisted living and independent living areas.
We are looking to immediately hiring for a Concierge/Front Desk position
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 3:00pm – 11:30pm (40 hour week) OR
3:00pm – 9:30pm (30 hour week)
We staff this position 7 days a week 365 days a year, so candidates who need an extra paycheck and who have additional ability can be on-call for other shifts!
The Concierge/Front Desk is a key role in creating a safe and secure environment for our residents. The successful candidate will create and maintain a strong, cross-functional, staff relationship by encouraging communication, dedication to customer service and a commitment to conscientious response. It also offers opportunities to work directly with residents to develop interpersonal skills and improve customer service.
The Concierge/Front Desk serves as the information referral center for all residents, families, potential residents, staff, guests, community contacts, and others visiting the community. Must be aware of all daily activities, administrative staff, and management company roles and responsibilities and direct or answer questions accordingly. Must have a passion or interest in working with the senior population.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing safe and timely response to emergent and non-emergent calls from residents.
- Monitoring security monitors and systems in the building, including the garage and lobby area. Acting as point of contact/liaison between front desk and administrative/security staff and functions – including interactions with first responders.
- Graciously greeting any community visitors, displaying exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
- Addressing the questions or concerns of residents and families.
- Maintaining Covid-19 safety protocols.
- Performing entry level tech support to residents as needed
- Providing general administrative support for community operations including oversight of mail/package deliveries.
We seek the following qualifications:
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service and support
- Interest in working with the senior population
- Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task, specifically as it pertains to managing the phone and phone calls
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB, Covid-19 tests, and passed background checks
- Excellent work history and attendance record
