On-Site Concrete Solutions is looking for RESPONSIBLE, SAFE and EFFICIENT concrete batch equipment operators ready to start a new career with a LEADER in the industry.

Pay: $22/hour

Position located at: 17777A LA-23 Port Sulpher, LA 70083

Job Duties:

• Monitor complete workings of concrete batch plant.
• Diagnose and assist in troubleshooting when process is interrupted.
• Perform routine maintenance on concrete batch and relevant equipment.
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation as required.
• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure company equipment, material, and the worksite are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
• Clean and maintain batching equipment.
• Visually inspect concrete on as needed basis.
• Maintains material inventories.
• Act in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assists in training of co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures.
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Rules and Regulations and assures facility compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA and other regulatory agencies.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months experience operating a batch plant.
• Ability to safely and efficiently maintain maximum production levels.
• Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing/walking, balance, bend, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects.
• Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather.
• Ability to work in areas with the potential for high noise levels.
• Ability to tolerate working at heights up to 100 feet.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Willingness to work long hours (10–12-hour days).
• Required to follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform well in a team environment.
• A good attitude!
• Self-motivator.

Working Conditions:

• All time is spent in an outside setting that may require various periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry. May have exposure to dust, sand, gravel, diesel exhaust, etc. Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and Monday through Saturday schedule.
