Job description

• Driver Operates Ready Mix truck to deliver concrete to various sites in a safe and efficient manner adhering to DOT rules and regulations.
• Performs daily preventative maintenance on Mixer Truck including but not limited to: fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, checking and adding fluids as needed.
• Changes flat tires as needed
• Uses water hoses to clean mixer truck between loads
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on a daily basis
• Assists maintenance with repairs as needed
• Visually inspects the consistency of concrete in mixer
• Communicates and directs coworkers to jobsites verbally either directly through cell phone or hand signals
• Provides appropriate documentation on delivery tickets
• Ensures all delivery tickets are signed and returned to Martin Marietta Materials/RediMix
• Exercise good judgement regarding work site access, unloading and operation to and from work site
• Demonstrates a good working knowledge of Rules and Regulation and assures facility compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA and other regulatory agencies
• Will follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
• Performs other duties, including plant/break room clean up as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Overtime
