Configuration and Data Management Analyst / Santa Barbara, CA
Job description
We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated professional to join our team developing state of the art infrared systems. Program range from R&D to Production. You will work with a cross function team from Engineering, Quality, Production, and Support functions to analyze proposed engineering changes and coordinate modification records for data management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization. Chairs Change Control Board and Process Change Screening Board, managing documentation and records. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with Configuration management policies.
Additional details on the role:
o Interface with all disciplines of engineering
o Potential to architect expansion of the role of CDM to encompass more aspects of product configuration and control
o Develop details of and setup CDM processes where ambiguity exists
o Work on teams and participate in IPTs
o Facilitate continued transition of new state of the art CDM tool suite
o Participate in training courses, as well as On-The-Job training
o Small site with opportunities to stretch into other assignments
o Help establish, maintain, and update all data management policies and procedures.
o Act as a technical liaison between SBF and our Orlando office with regard to system configuration
o Will have access to opportunities for project leadership and leading small teams

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with CDM systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills
Desired Skills:
Experience with Windchill
Supervision of small group
Developing procedures
Technical writing
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $67,000 - $126,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
