Construction Inspector, Seasonal (Minneapolis, MN)-*MNG02113*

Center Point Energy* is looking for a* Seasonal Construction Inspector to join our* Minnesota GasTeam, located in Minneapolis, MN*.
You will have the ability to: Direct, monitor, and inspect contractor construction activities and complete related documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements and construction agreements.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Attend construction meetings with government representatives (city, county, state) to obtain and provide construction project updates, and relay the information to the crews and management.
• Provide accurate and complete field construction documentation including a detailed list of materials used on the job and ensure timely processing of related records to maintain the integrity and accuracy of company record systems.
• Review and prepares daily progress reports for compliance with applicable contracts and agreements.
• Respond to customer inquiries for construction or conversion information, provides customers with project status updates and post installation troubleshooting to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the service delivery process.
• Update distribution system maps and performs various construction related and non-construction related activities as assigned to support the service delivery process during the non-construction season.

Your background includes:

• High school diploma or GED

A bonus to have:

• Education or training specific to natural gas distribution system installation.
• At least one year of construction or utility operations/natural gas distribution system experience (one full construction season equivalent to one year).
