DISTRICT OVERVIEW
Kiewit Offshore Services, a district (or business unit) of Kiewit Corporation that builds structurally complex jackets and topsides for offshore oil drilling rigs. Located in Ingleside, TX, 20 minutes outside of Corpus Christi, the 550-acre fabrication yard is the workplace of 300 staff employees and 1400 craft employees who work in the yard year-round. The projects built by Kiewit Offshore Services require significant equipment planning, detailed cost estimates and schedules, a commitment to safety by all employees, and are truly unforgettable. LOCATION
This position is based out of Kiewit's Offshore Services District in Ingleside, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reads & routes incoming mail, locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence.
- Composes & types routine correspondence, and keeps correspondence logs up to date to include transmittals RFI's and letters.
- Creates, organizes, and maintains project files including, setting up, sorting, determining file location, filing, and archiving at tend of proejct
- Maintains confidentiality in handling of company & customer information, and a good company image in order to interact with clients, customers, and other company personnel.
- Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities.
- Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
- Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including email and faxes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree or High School diploma + 2 years’ experience as a minimum.
- 0-2 years' minimum relevant experience.
- Receives direction from senior designer.
- Adjusts to varying demands of work and performs well.
- Communicates effectively orally and in writing. Present ideas clearly and in professional manner.
- Participates on teams effectively. Accepts direction from the team. Individually contributes to success of the team.
