Liberty FCU is currently seeking a Consumer Loan Officer with excellent communication and member service skills to join our growing team. In this position, you will help our members realize their financial goals by listening to their needs and providing them with lending solutions that meet those needs. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Proactively engage new and existing credit union members by phone
  • Be a professional, courteous, motivated lending service representative with a positive attitude
  • Perform calls and loan requests in a manner which develops a lending relationship with each member
  • Search for further loan opportunities with every encounter
  • Protect member’s financial condition by providing them options to protect their investments and the ability to pay
• Strive to meet monthly sales and departmental goals
• Process consumer loan requests from application to closing
• Understand and follow the credit union’s lending policies
• Be willing to work a modified work schedule if necessary including some evenings and Saturdays
