About the Role:
Your role will report directly to the Creative Director and will consist of creating everything needed for Tribal Nation Flower Co. This includes but is not limited to enticing event ads/posters/flyers/social media posts, keeping the dispensary menu updated, weekly web ads, newspaper ads, magazine ads, merchandise and apparel design, label/sticker creation as needed. Create original social media content, upkeep and stories, update blaze (our integrated cannabis payment software & inventory system) with photos as needed. You will collaborate with our photographer/videographer about what is needed for upcoming social media posts, events and/or ads. This is a contract position.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience (academic and professional) with Adobe design software, including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
- 3+ years in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency, or as an independent contractor
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline – or equivalent real-world experience
- Strong portfolio of work – must be submitted with resume!
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to self-manage with self-discipline skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with photo-editing software
- Excellent Social Media engagement & management skills
- Desire to continue to grow skill set with ongoing education and training
- Able to work in a remote, geographically distributed, and diverse Agile development environment
- Must be based within the United States
Your Role & Responsibilities:
· Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with the team regarding a wide range of materials including web ads, printed newspaper ads, social media posts, event and promotional branding, merchandise, and apparel creation and much more.
· Create, update, and maintain visual and brand style guides
· Manage the design and uploading process of all project materials
· File management, naming, and storage
· Keep catalog/ordering platform (Blaze) up to date with correctly sized & formatted imagery.
· Meet & collaborate with photographer(s), team members, other design professionals, outside marketing coordinators, promotion experts, print shops, trade show goers and more.
· Update menu items
· Attend meetings, listen, strategize & conceptualize. We want your input!
· Report to Creative Director
Bonus Points:
· Experience with cannabis & working in the cannabis industry
· Passion for fine arts / creative arts
· Experience building a social media brand
· Locally in the Fresno – Yosemite area
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
