What Will You Do?
The Contracts Administrator provides support and communication to ensure that all master service and stand-alone contracts are reviewed and executed in a timely manner. The position also is a key member of the bid/proposal team and is responsible supporting and managing the estimating, engineering, and sales team in submitting bid/proposal packages to its clients. Responsibilities:

What Work Will I Be Performing?
  • Administration of Contract Review and execution process of all GSI Client Contracts.
  • Reviews complex solicitations and prepares a non-routine bid submittal response for bids and contract negotiations/modifications.
  • Trains PM’s, Directors and Sales staff in understanding critical aspects regarding risk mitigation within on all GSI contracts including MSA’s.
  • Develops negotiation strategy and leads negotiation team on complex contractual issues.
  • Assists in identification, development, and implementation of new contract policies and processes for company.
  • Establishes high-level contract strategy and drives implementation of new opportunities within new regions to grow the company.
  • Maintains contract management system and repository for all contract related materials.
  • Maintains and manages GSI’s Disadvantaged Business Program on all construction contracts collectively with operations.
  • Provides guidance, advice and counsel to programmatic and technical staff regarding contract interpretation issues, contract scope issues and other contract related matters.
  • Serves as GSI’s legal liaison on all legal matters.
  • Ensure all departments are aware of critical tasks (Safety, PM's, Crews etc.)
  • Maintain Contract Checklist for review
  • Report certified payroll jobs to payroll
  • Ensure tax exempt jobs are set up properly in the accounting system
  • Administration of Company’s Client Master Service Agreements
  • Updates Master MSA Spreadsheet
  • Order insurance certificates and surety bonds for all projects.
  • Manage timelines for contract review process
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, along with preferred pricing, with material vendors
  • Manage all general contracts and legal documents of the Company.
Subcontracts (All)
  • Subcontracts-Ensure Company includes Flow downs in its subcontracts from Prime/Owner Contracts
  • Negotiate and finalize subcontracts for all projects
  • Manages a comprehensive list of companies qualified subcontractors.
Qualifications:
What Do I Need to Bring?
  • 3-5 Years of experience in Contract Management or related field with a Bachelor’s.
  • Paralegal background with contracts experience is highly desirable
  • Strong working experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge and understanding of pricing and FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting Regulations including GSA.
  • Strong math is required.
  • Experience with SAP – based programs
  • Must have an adequate ability to reason with government agencies keeping the company compliant with all attainable requests.
  • Ability to apply sound judgement to proposal strategy, contract formation and customer relationships
