Summary:
The Contracts Manager will provide: 1) Day-to-day contract administration for a multi-million dollar IDIQ Task Order contract; 2) on-site guidance and counsel to the Project Management Office (PMO) on contract compliance matters; and, 3) Subcontract oversite for the subcontractors on the program. This position is responsible for initiating, tracking, and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, risk, and maintaining a repository of documentation. The Contracts Manager will ensure the management of contracts is in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full life-cycle contract management in the government sector - from award through contract closeout.
- Oversee contracts process and compliance for assigned contracts, task orders and subcontracts.
- Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration of contracts or subcontracts.
- Monitor company performance for conformance to original proposal.
- Serves as primary point of contact for customers' contracts/subcontracts POC.
- Supports interpretation regarding legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
- Advises on implications of all contract types with emphasis on FFP and T&M terms.
- Supports negotiation of complex contracts and may develop consulting, nondisclosure, teaming, subcontracting and other agreements.
- Participates in pricing strategy discussions, including assessing competitive pricing/rate structures.
- Conveys contract requirements to Program Managers and monitors contract awards and funding status.
- Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning contract questions, issues, and problems for assigned contracts.

Minimum Requirements
Education:
- BA/BS degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
Experience:
- 7-10 years progressively responsible government contracting experience.
- Experience managing a portfolio of contracts
- Experience managing subcontractors
Skills/Abilities/Licenses/Certifications:
- Thorough knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition regulations), DIAR (Department of Interior Acquisition Regulations).
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint is a plus, including strong pricing experience is desired.
- Candidate must have proven success in customer relations, an in-depth familiarity with the federal contracting process.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficient in the use of Microsoft
- Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- The successful candidate will be an action-oriented, self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and has strong organizational skills.
- Professional Certification (CPCM) preferred, but not required.
