LEMOINE, a Great Place to Work®-Certified company, is looking for a Contracts Specialist I. The Contract Specialist I will serve as support in coordinating, issuing, and managing owner and master subcontract agreements, subcontractor qualification statements, subcontractor compliance, and project buy-out. Prepares subcontracts, project work orders, purchase orders, project purchase orders, professional service agreements, equipment purchase orders, and consulting agreements in accordance with company policies and requirements. The Contract Specialist I provides support to the department and oversees the duties assigned to the Contracts Administrative Assistant. This position requires great attention to detail, a team-oriented approach, and a superior work ethic.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, issues, and manages owner and subcontract agreements.
  • Assists in the collection and review of subcontractor compliance documents including certificates of insurance and assists in identifying and implementing continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline the contract procurement process effectively and efficiently.
  • Manages all subcontractor templates and assists in reviewing invoices, updating equipment logs, and developing content for Request for Proposal.
  • Provides support to the department and oversees the duties assigned to the Contracts Administrative Assistant.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency; Associate's degree in Business Management or related curriculum (Preferred).
  • Experience with construction contracts, legal documents, and insurance policies is required.
  • Basic understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language, and the contract lifecycle.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and talent for accuracy and precision.
  • Driven and self-motivated character traits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills.
