We are working with a National CPA firm that is looking for a Controller for their Family Office Practice.

We are currently looking for a Controller to oversee the entire accounting function for the Family Office Practice. The candidate must have at least 7 years current/recent experience in an internal accounting department of a professional services firm required (Law firm or CPA firm preferred). The role will be based out of the firm’s NYC office.

Experience:

• Manage monthly closings, customer billing, accounts payable, credit and collections.
• Manage vendor invoicing, accounts receivable, cash disbursements and working capital
• Create financial statements including variance analysis
• 7+ Years of experience within an Accounting or Law firm required
• Experience with $50mm++ firm preferred

Requirements:

• Professional Services Industry Experience
• Experience working in a Family office or CPA Firm a must
• Financial Reporting experience needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. CPA a plus not required
• Experience with financial management reporting systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
