The successful Copywriter will write clear and concise copy for newsletters, ads, publications, email automation, websites, and more. • This is a part-time position that can become full-time.
• This role will be paid per project with an hourly rate equivalent to that listed.

$22 - $25 hourly

• Write clear, compelling copy with a distinct voice for various mediums (e.g. websites, ads, blog posts, newsletters, etc.)
• Conduct thorough research and help strategize how to engage target audiences
• Interpret copywriting briefs and editing notes to understand project requirements
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
• Source images and other content efficiently
• Perform any additional tasks as required by OTS and its clients

• Proven experience as a copywriter or closely related role
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• High-level experience with SEO
• Strong research skills
• Experience working with G-Suite and Canva
• Driven, competitive personality combined with innate creativity and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Use critical thinking skills to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
• Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent
• Start-up experience is highly preferred
