Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP)
is adding a Events Manager to be an important
member of our growing Marketing Department.

Job Summary
: The Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP) Events Manager is a servant leader responsible for leading the MVP events team and coordinating/managing MVP corporate events. This person will be responsible for events budgeting, establishing processes, and executing corporate events, so they must be a leader and a doer. This role will directly work department leaders and marketing to ensure that all MVP corporate events are effectively executed. In addition to corporate events, this person will support the events team with sales & recruiting events on an as needed basis. Due to the volume of events that MVP hosts and the number of key stakeholders, it is imperative that the Events Manager has great communication and project management skills. This role will be based in the MVP home office are report to the Chief Growth Officer.
Responsibilities:
How you’ll make an impact :

  • Maintain and uphold the Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.
  • Develop processes and documentation for event execution.
  • Create “live” calendar of all MVP events for department leader visibility.
  • Manage event budgeting and ensure team does not exceed annual budget – certain events will be budgeted for by department leaders while others will be budgeted for by the events team.
  • Manage registration & logistics for all corporate MVP events.
  • Review & approve team member PTO requests and expense statements.
  • Provide leadership and support to event team members as needed Corporate Event Coordination and Management.
  • Corporate events include training events, leadership development events, company meetings, networking, team building, etc.
  • Build and manage MVP event calendar for all MVP corporate events (training events, leadership development, networking, team building, etc.).
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure that the corporate event list is accurate and comprehensive.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop event collateral for events.
  • Collaborate with vendors and representatives to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Management of event replies, logistics, and all other event related needs.

Qualifications:
Talents you’ll bring to MVP:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field required.
  • 2-3 years relevant experience or equivalence in advanced degree.
  • Project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
