Job Overview:
The Court Runner at ABC Legal Services performs daily delivery of legal documents to multiple courts in person and picks up documents that have been issued by the courts. Documents received from the court are either shipped to an ABC office or scanned into ABC system software immediately upon pick-up, depending on office configuration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up documents from the court
- Deliver documents to ABC Legal office location if applicable
- Scan document into the ABC Legal document tracking system
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of related experience preferred
- Must be comfortable with multiple hours of driving between court locations, including often congested traffic conditions
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and PDF formatting
- Ability to learn new computer programs
- Must be a self-starter
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
