SUMMARY:

The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the Medical Staff credentialing/re-credentialing process to assist the Medical Staff in assuring that all individuals with clinical privileges provide services within the scope of their training, licensure, and individual clinical privileges granted in accordance with The Joint Commission standards and other applicable federal, state, local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies, Gaylord Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and policies by performing the following duties. Provides assistance/coverage for Administrative Coordinator when needed. FPPE/OPPE processing according to The Joint Commission requirements; quality assurance review of documentation; and other tasks as needed

Minimum Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years specialized schooling and 2-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Credentialing experience preferred.

CPCS certification preferred, but not required.
