Job Description:
The Credentialing Specialist position is responsible multiple tasks and functions that make up the administration of the pharmacy recredentialing activities and Quality Control of pharmacy enrollment credentialing.
Candidates must be proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Access.
Minimum Data Entry 60 WPM and 100% accuracy.
Responsibilities include working directly with the pharmacy community, via phone, email, and fax.
Ability to communicate clearly and in a concise manner; both verbal and written is of significant importance.
Duties:
Credentialing Specialist Duties may include:
Data Entry of credentialing status and key details
Monitor high volume of incoming email activity, respond to emails accordingly in a timely manner.
Verify and document status of pharmacy credentials from primary source.
Pharmacy communication and issue resolution via phone, email, and or bizfax.
Perform related duties as directed.
Experience:
2 to 5 years of related experience is required.
This is a data entry position and requires a high degree of attention to detail, quality, and accuracy. Preferred 75WPM with 100% accuracy rate.
Mid to advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access is required., 100% accuracy rate.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and in a concise professional manner.
Direct communication with pharmacies (calling, emailing, & faxing).
Verbal communication skills, polite, professional, clear enunciation, and good tone.
Email professionalism and etiquette are key, along with spelling and good grammar (verbal/written).
Candidates must be computer savvy (working with internet, well versed in terms such as browser, clear cookies, mapping and navigating network drives, navigating various systems, importing/exporting various file types, formulas, pivot tables).
Position Summary:
The Credentialing Specialist position is responsible for a variety of tasks and functions that encompass the administration of the pharmacy credentialing activities.
Responsibilities may include reviewing survey responses, maintain accurate documentation and tracking of credentialing records, respond to pharmacy questions, provide pharmacies with technical support related to survey submission, and issue research and resolution.
This position uses MS Outlook, Excel, and Access daily.
Education:
Education or experience equivalent to a 4-year college degree is required.
