Matheson is a member of one of the world's largest suppliers of gases and gas handling equipment. Matheson is a premier supplier of Industrial, Specialty and Medical Gases, Welding and Safety Supplies, as well as Propane in bulk and cylinder form. Matheson is seeking a Credit Representative for the Miami location.
POSITION SUMMARY
Contact delinquent customers for payments. Research and resolve all inquiries and payment discrepancies related to assigned accounts. Maintain credit files; reviewing credit status and limits on problem and new and existing customers. Others duties as assigned and needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School education.• Bookkeeping & typing minimum 50 WPM.• Ten key by touch• Knowledge of AS400 or hot key based systems.• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.• Computer/CRT experience, one/two years A/R and/ or collection experience.• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook Email).• Excellent written communication skills.• Excellent customer service skills. Ability to establish and manage customer relationships.• Excellent telephone communications skills• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
