Here is some of what your day will look like:

  • Recognize system short-comings, respond to operational and emergency situations, and provide technical guidance and direction
  • Operate building systems in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with government regulatory compliance and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure proper operation of electrical and HVAC equipment and identify any potentially hazardous conditions and identify safety hazards. Also, participate in safety training
  • Ensure all infrastructure and compliance documentation for the building is maintained and up to date
  • Perform predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, maintenance routines, and equipment rounds, and service requests
  • Perform the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems
  • Inspect and repair pumps, fans, valves, and motors ensuring proper operation of the facility equipment and systems
  • Perform general facility-related maintenance work including plumbing repairs, replacement of lamps/ballasts, door hardware, and other maintenance tasks
  • Call, escort, and monitor vendors when major repairs are needed
  • Track electrical and mechanical loads for all critical systems, and keep records of buildings rounds and readings, engineering logs, and engineering data sheets.

Here is who should apply:
Those with:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of commercial and critical environment HVAC experience
  • An EPA Universal

Preferred:

  • An operating engineers license is highly desired
  • Technical college or trade school
  • BAS and CMMS experience


Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with occasional overtime as needed.
Pay: $74,000 - $91,500 depending on experience.
