This position is on-site in Austin, TX.
- Setup and run CT Scan and X-Ray analysis on Tesla energy product components.
- Process data on Windows computers and report findings to other internal customers.
- Design custom fixtures to be 3D printed for sample presentation to tools.
- Perform basic maintenance and service procedures on equipment.
- Training for specific equipment and techniques will be provided.
- The ideal candidate for the job will have prior exposure to basic NDT techniques, electronics, and mechatronics work.
- Candidate should be detail oriented, have fine motor skills, and excellent communication skills.

Knowledge and experience with general CT-scan / radiographic equipment and procedures required.
- Demonstrable experience with basic electrical test equipment such as multimeter and other common equipment
- Experience troubleshooting documented machinery and equipment.
- Strong working knowledge with Windows computers mandatory. System administration and computer hardware experience a major plus
- Familiarity with basic failure analysis techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Support engineering trials, provide feedback loop for any failures in cell to the requestor
- Identification, escalation, and resolution of manufacturing quality issues – working closely with relevant teams and owners
- Strong desire to learn and use advanced characterization and analysis techniques in Li- ion cell and battery pack manufacturing processes
- Engineering background a strong plus.
