Position:CT Technologist

$65 /Hour,13 Weeks Contract,32 Hours/week

Shift Info :Night Shift Tuesday - Friday 12p-8a

• 1 year of experience as CT Technologist required
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• BLS required
• ARRT(CT) Required
• Iowa licensure (Permit to Practice) required
• Graduate of a program for Radiologic Technologist.

Job Description:

• Responsible for providing CT and some X-Rays.
• Completes assigned responsibilities within his/her certification with little or no direct supervision.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and quality monitoring for the department.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others.
• Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
• Strong RIS and PACS computer knowledge. (Meditech and Mckesson experience preferred).
• Technical skills associated with duties listed within this job description. Must be competent in all assigned areas.
• Willingness to complete further radiographic education or certification as required by the department.
• Must demonstrate leadership and effective communication skills as required for this position.
