THE ROLE

Impact Museums is seeking Custodial/Janitorial Staff to join the team in the Dallas area. The primary responsibilities will include upkeep of the building to enhance and maintain the look for our guests.

These individuals will play a critical role as a representative of the building and provide customer service as it relates to the safety and aesthetics of the building.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide safe and top-level service without disrupting day-to-day operations of the building, restroom facilities, and parking lots.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as high touch areas, doors, floors, walls, and counters.
• Perform dusting, waste removal, sweeping, and weekly mopping.
• Knowledgeable of janitorial equipment, supplies, and cleaning techniques.
• Maintain effective and positive communication and working relationships with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and management.
• Promote and communicate health and safety procedures put in place to protect staff and guests. Reporting safety hazards and needed repairs to the Supervisor and/or Manager on Duty
• Other duties as assigned by the General Manager and Impact Museums management team.

• A high level of self-awareness, receptivity to change, and integrity
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Availability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• This is a Seasonal Part-Time opportunity with possibility of extension to permanent hire

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The role is on-site in Dallas, TX
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs
• Ability to wear and utilize a radio and earpiece
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
