Weekday Evening Custiondian
Summary Description:
We are looking for a reliable custodian to join our team and perform day-to-day maintenance operations for the 45,000 square-footlibrary building. In this position you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities to ensure that the building is safe and functional to better serve all library users and staff. Self-motivators with an eye for detail will be successful in this position.
Essential Tasks:
- Perform general custodial duties ensuring the building is kept clean and safe
- Keep outdoor walkways and interior oors safe and clear of ice, snow, and water
- Responsible for identifying, reporting, and assisting in correcting potential safety hazards
- Responsible for meeting room set ups and take downs
- Empties book drop
- Perform tasks as outlined in the current closing procedures checklist
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent; previous custodial experience preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.15 per hour
