We are currently seeking a Customer Account Specialist, for our Seeds team in Boise, ID. As the Customer Account Specialist, you will provide reliable, high-quality customer service to an assigned client base, and order management support from the initiation through the coordination of the transplant orders with 3rd party greenhouses to the final shipment of seedlings to the end customer

You will enhance the prosperity of farmers by:

  • Providing guidance to the support team for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with the company’s vision and values.
  • Working on the launching and demonstration of new product introductions with an effective trialing program in order to position products that will meet the needs of the target market.
  • Leverage local trial plans and outcomes to refine product positioning and develop sales opportunities.

Accountabilities

  • Enter customer orders while creating seed and plant production orders
  • Manage and maintain inventories, orders and plant availability on Plant Order Spreadsheets for each US Transplant Producer.
  • Create, enter and maintain SAP Production Orders related to consigned seed and transplant inventories and deliveries.
  • Communicate to customers regarding spot plant availability, pricing, order confirmations and line order delivery status.
  • Receive and facilitate communication on customer complaints for non-product concerns such as plant deliveries, freight damage, etc.

Qualifications


Requirements

  • Associate degrees and / or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or 2-3 Years’ experience in customer service, order management role or supply planning (preferably in a seed company).
  • Experience with MRP/ERP 3 systems.
  • SAP and Microsoft office skill
  • Good communicative skills. Team player with a positive attitude
  • Analytical and commercially well developed. Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Planning Cycles, Sales Cycles, Production and Processes and Sales
