SUMMARY:
Employee assists in the overall delivery of service and processing of client appointments and applications via telephone and on-line.
DUTIES:
Answering incoming telephone.
Scheduling appointments.
Responds to general questions, providing eligibility requirements.
Refers clients to the appropriate caseworker and/or office location as necessary.
Process on-demand and on-line applications.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or designee.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE. SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Reliable transportation to report to work.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Willingness and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Experience in keeping records, making oral and written reports.
Ability to perform routine clerical work.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous Customer Service Experience with a passion to work with people.
Familiarity and experience with basic computer programs
High School Diploma or equivalent.
