As a member of the team, you play a critical role as the frontline of our Service organization. You would be responsible for assisting our agents and customers with inquires on their policies and/or quotes, endorsements/billing and work closely with all aspects of the organization including underwriting, claims, marketing and accounting. Our ideal candidate will have a friendly and professional demeanor with great communication skills.


Salary based on skill, experience, and licensure.

Policy Services Hours of Operations: 8am - 6pm Monday through Thursday, 8am - 5pm Friday

Position is In-Person in our Jacksonville, FL office

Job Description

  • Accurately answer inquiries from agents, policyholders and other entities related to billing, payments, and policy forms, via various communication channels
  • Follow company policies and procedures for business activities.
  • Learn and understand company insurance products.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully to develop alternative solutions.


Education/Experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in policy service/customer service.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.


Skills

Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain, organize and explain information.
  • Ability to interpret basic insurance coverage, procedures, and policies.
  • If not currently licensed, must be willing to obtain Florida 4-40 license within first 60 days of employment. Assistance with licensing is provided.

Preferred

  • Active 4-40, 20-44 or 2-20 license.
  • Customer Relations Experience.
  • Florida P&C insurance knowledge.
  • Spanish language skills/bilingual capability a plus
