Position: Customer Service Representative

Fantapak, an Inteplast Group Company, is a 36 year old, leading supplier of poly bags and other packaging materials to distributors in the Industrial, Foodservice, and Agricultural markets nationwide. We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the Customer Service Rep position in our Livonia, MI headquarters.

Position Objective:

This position reports to the Customer Service Manager. Looking for a confident & energetic professional to provide world class service to customers, sales reps, and colleagues.

Duties:

- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers and sales reps

- Process and confirm stock and custom purchase orders

- Communicate with customers and sales reps via phone and e-mail

- Proactively resolve customer concerns

- Participate in team and company meetings

- Manage customer expectations by communicating realistic information regarding lead times

- File freight claims for damages/shortages

- Enter daily order tracking information into MAS90

- Set up and update custom item part #s and pricing in MAS90

- Request and obtain custom item/artwork proofs from PO Dept and submit for customer approval

- Create, edit, and send packing lists to warehouse

- Track shipments and provide PODs (Proofs of Delivery) as needed

- Invoice and update in MAS90

- Issue RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations)

- Process credit memos

- Complete CARs (Corrective Action Reports) and handle QIs (Quality Issues)

- Manage and expedite backorders, offering substitute items when necessary

- Promote new products to customers

- Take on new projects and accounts as needed

- Review incoming container lists and update necessary information on sales orders

Education Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years Customer Service, Sales or Marketing experience

Skills/Qualifications:

- Proven ability to manage multiple relationships well

- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills

- Energy, enthusiasm and strong work ethic

- Adapt quickly to evolving priorities; fast paced environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
