We are seeking a Customer Service Representative in Greer, South Carolina

Our client produces pipe and joint material handling systems. Common structures include flow racks, workstations, stands, display boards, carts, and AGVs. The corporate office is located in Greer, SC, and additional offices are in Georgetown, KY, and Novi, MI.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00/HR. Weekly pay periods on Thursdays
Position: Direct Hire, Full Time

Position Overview:
Communicate with customers on quotes, orders, and general business matters. Coordinates customer shipping requirements with manufacturing, and assure correct products and quantities are shipped to customers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Manage incoming calls
- Process orders, work orders, and quotes in our ERP System
- Understand and follow company policies and ISO procedures
- Check purchase orders for correct pricing and delivery, contracts customer when needed
- Provide delivery and tracking information to customers when needed
- Check all purchase orders to ensure accuracy upon entry
- Support shipping department on occasions to locate fright or schedule a pickup that has been delivered to the wrong location
- Serve as liaison with sales, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and shipping personnel
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Aid accounting on the collection of some accounts
Position Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Customer Support Representative experience
- Background working with a Manufacturing company
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced software/computer skills and knowledge (Excel and Word)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, associate or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to retain critical knowledge of customer websites, portals
- Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and have an ability to multi-task to meet critical deadlines
