Julian Electric Inc. is a trusted and acknowledged Tier 1 supplier partner in global transportation industry, and a preferred supplier for leading global commercial vehicle OEMs, material handling, automotive, construction and agricultural, and other industry OEMs. Headquartered Southwest of Chicago, IL, in Lockport IL, Julian Electric is searching for a smart and motivated individual to take on the role of Customer Service Representative.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Objective:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for effectively communicating and interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries on our products.
1. Receive and enter data for incoming orders for our products. Interact with customers throughout the order via phone and email, production and delivery process; coordinating across department lines to ensure the order is accurately entered, scheduled, assembled and delivered.
2. Make any necessary revisions to orders, communicate with Engineering and/or Quality departments if a drawing or file needs to be updated.
3. Review and compose proper and professional emails to customer requests in a timely manner, usually within 24 hours of the customer’s original request.
4. Expedite orders when appropriate. Walk thru production floor to check on status of orders and advise customer of delivery timeline.
5. Assist in shipment execution; continuously check Workbench to see which orders are completed. Create packing slips and bills of lading.
6. Process credit card orders.
7. Other duties as assigned by the CSR Manager
POSITION PROFILE
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- A minimum of 2 years customer service experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting
- Working knowledge of ERP/CRM and EDI systems

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
