Western Peaks Logistics is a Intermountain West based final mile company delivering parcels and freight across 7 states. We are currently growing and would love for you to come work with us. We are seeking a FULL TIME Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. We love self-motivated, professional, individuals who are strong communicators, detail oriented, organized, on task, and have an ability to solve problems in a timely manner. You will be handling incoming calls, from existing customers, new potential customers, and vendors. You will communicate with our drivers, coordinate shipments and deliveries as well as provide excellent support to our customers. Excellent Customer Service is a priority for American Courier and your role is important to our success.

Job Duties:

• Answer incoming telephone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
• Interact with our customers as requested via our software and via other methods such as email, phone calls and internal requests
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
• Research and resolve customer inquiries and problem resolution
• Reconcile any order conflicts such as delivery/shipping delays
• Arrange delivery of shipping supplies to customers as requested
• On-demand and routed order processing
• Prepare/dispatch and print/email bill of ladings/invoices
• Interact professionally both internally with staff and externally with clients
• Maintain customer data accounts efficiently and accurately
• Other customer and general office duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to respond to complex inquiries or complaints from internal and external customers
• Ability to analyze, recognize, prevent and resolve problem situations, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to organize, prepare and assemble documents
• Ability to effectively present information to team members, vendors, management, and customers
• Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous demands and work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Must be familiar with MS Office specifically Excel and Word

Other Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age, have valid driver’s license with good driving record and satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug testing and background check!

Shifts Available: Mon-Fri. Expected shift begins at 9:00 am through 5:30 pm. Best candidate will be able to work some overtime when needed.

Wage:

• $16-$22 per hour based on experience. Includes health, dental, vision, paid vaca.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience in Customer Service related activities
